ANTIQUE CLUBS AND GOLF BALLS
It
is remarkable that golfers of the early 1900s played as well as they
did with the equipment of their era. To feel the wooden shaft of an
early niblick or mashie is to take a trip into golf nostalgia. The
following are offered from a private collection of hickory-shafted
clubs circa 1900-1930 and mesh-patterned golf balls of the same time.
Clubs and balls are subject to limited supply and, when the collection
is sold out, no more will be offered. All are presented on a
money-back guarantee if returned undamaged within two weeks of
purchase.
Wooden-shafted
clubs are far more plentiful than balls of the early 1900s. Families
would often pass clubs from one generation to the next, whereas they
would often discard the balls.
